Elvis Fjellner

Evis Fjellner is a results-oriented business leader from the Saik’uz First Nation with proven abilities in strategic planning, economic and community development, improving efficiency of operations and team building. For the past 11 years he has been the General Manager of the Dease River Development Corporation. Prior to taking on his position with the Dease River Development Corporation Elvis was the Operations Manager for Tin Toh Forest Products, he also has worked as the Capital Manager for Dease River First Nation and owned and operated Na-Yun Trucking and Contracting. Given his extensive experience gathered throughout three decades of work in the economic development sector he is able to identify areas of strength and weakness and implement company policies, standards, changes in operation, and systems that optimize productivity and bottom line. Elvis has a demonstrated ability to motivate staff to maximum productivity and control costs through the most effective uses of manpower and available resources. A strong background in relationship management, team building and coordinating with various political subdivisions and governments enables him to facilitate change in community and support organizational objectives.
